Brokerage Assistant / Account Executive – ME, TX, WV, NC, IL []
As a Brokerage Assistant or Account Executive, you will assist the Broker in executing the growth and profit initiatives of REU by providing exemplary support services to ensure production goals are met. You would be responsible for developing and maintaining positive business relationships with insurance agencies, carriers, and co-workers. Your day-to-day duties may include:
- Entering new and renewal business in agency management system (AIM)
- Assisting in the marketing and placement of new and renewal accounts within assigned territory and authority level
- Evaluating viability of accounts through opportunity assessment
- Requesting information, as needed, for preparing a thorough submission for marketing in accordance with REU’s policies and procedures
- Submitting risks to appropriate markets for consideration
- Reviewing carrier quotes for accuracy and sending quotes to agents for consideration
- Reviewing bind requests and requesting coverage be bound
- Reviewing and processing policies, endorsements, and other account activity and preparing for processing and issuance
The successful candidate will have an associate’s degree and two years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Responsibilities
As a broker at Regional Excess Underwriters, LLC your responsibilities will be to drive increased sales and company growth by developing positive business relationships with agents and other brokers. You must maintain increasing knowledge of insurance industry markets, products, and legal environments to provide a value-added service to our agents and brokers. You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing agents’ requests for quotations and proposals, negotiating individual risk submissions with insurers, underwriting binding authority business, potentially conducting calls on prospective agents and brokers to market the company’s programs and services, and will be required to represent Regional Excess Underwriters at industry functions.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, or four years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. CPCU and/or CIC designation desired.
Operations Manager – Dallas, TX []
We are currently hiring for an Operations Manager in our Dallas, TX office. In this position, you will be responsible for the management of the technical and administrative support staff in multiple locations. This is a leadership role which includes management of staff, work processes and resources to produce results which meet or exceed departmental and corporate goals. Senior Vice President – Excess and Surplus Lines []
We are currently searching for a Senior Vice President to provide strategic input and support REU’s branch managers across the country. As a member of the senior management team, you will implement strategies to maximize overall operational effectiveness and efficiency, oversee market relationships, and actively pursue new opportunities to achieve targeted results.
Education and/or Experience
Our ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and thrive in a fast paced and dynamic organization. A bachelor’s degree and/or industry designation and a minimum of 15 years progressive Excess & Surplus Lines experience with at least 10 years in management positions.

Responsibilities
As an underwriter for Regional Excess Underwriters, LLC your primary responsibility will be to provide technical assistance to our Brokers with analysis and evaluation of underwriting information, and assist the department in maintaining workflow standards. You will handle a book of new and renewal business within an assigned territory and authority level. You will be responsible for requesting information needed for underwriting and pricing of assigned business, reviewing all file information to determine renewal pricing, analyzing and prequalifying submissions for new and renewal business, preparation of policies and endorsements for processing and issuance, and communicating with agents.
Education and/or Experience
Associates Degree and two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Responsibilities
This is an entry level position with good opportunity for advancement. Responsibilities for this position include assembling and mailing insurance policies, completing notices of cancellation and reinstatements, and providing administrative support to the department. Successful candidates will have excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel, strong organizational and customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail is required.
